The pain and the damage of bullying don’t end when the bell rings.
The effects of bullying may last longer than you may think, impacting mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Hi, I'm Alvaro again, and today as we mentioned in the last post, we will discuss the effects of bullying.
A victim of bullying can experience either short-term or long-term effects, with some lasting for years. Most victims are children or teenagers, who are in a crucial stage of development where they shape their personalities. Traumatic events like bullying can significantly impact this process, leading to personality disorders, emotional and psychological consequences.
Although I’ve been fortunate not to experience bullying myself, I’ve witnessed various cases. In most instances, victims showed a loss of interest in activities, noticeable changes in their personalities, and differences in how they communicated with others.
As stated, before some bullying effects last longer than you think. And victims such as kids and teenagers don’t deserve to be part of it. This damage that the victims receive is like a scar, it will become part of him. Finally, we will talk more about how to act and the possible solutions for bullying in the next post.
