  Although many people remember their childhood as something good and happy, positive, etc. Some others don’t even want to remember it. Bullying shouldn’t define someone's past, present, or future. In this last post, I want to focus on how should we face any type of bullying as victims and highlight the importance of fighting against bullying. To face bullying may seem hard or worse for the victim but trust me you are not alone, and if you take the right steps everything will be alright some of the steps you can follow are presented in this infographic Finally, It's fundamental to keep in mind that a lack of action or silence promotes the growth of bullying. You must take action if you witness bullying occurring or if you are the victim. Nobody should be able to take away your sense of being secure or valued. You have a right to feel safe and appreciated. Bullying cannot exist in environments where people speak out, reach out, and support one another.

  The pain and the damage of bullying don’t end when the bell rings.  The effects of bullying may last longer than you may think, impacting mental, physical, and emotional well-being. A victim of bullying can experience either short-term or long-term effects, with some lasting for years. Most victims are children or teenagers, who are in a crucial stage of development where they shape their personalities. Traumatic events like bullying can significantly impact this process, leading to personality disorders, emotional and psychological consequences.   Have you ever felt as a kid, the experience of being excluded, insulted, or even physically hurt by others, if so you’re not alone. In fact,  one out of every five people has experienced bullying at least once. This makes it a global issue that demands attention and a solution. Hi, I’m Alvaro Abad, a 16-year-old student at the Aquinas American School, and in this blog, I will discuss the reasons for the frequency of bullying, why it happens and the different types of bullying people face nowadays, in addition,  I want to talk about my own experience as a teenager here at Aquinas American School.  First, I want to discuss the exponential growth and frequency of bullying.
